How to Win Over a Niche for Your Cleaning Company

One of the most profitable things you can do when it comes to growing your cleaning company is to just dominate a single niche in your local area. By focusing on just one niche, you can really drill down into it and become the go-to expert for them, the no-brainer cleaning solution whenever the question arises for them.

So how do you go about conquering an entire niche and becoming the no-brainer solution?

Simple.

You look for their pain. But before you start looking at their pain, first ask yourself if this niche is making enough money where you can charge a reasonable wage for your service. If they can, proceed to do some detective work on the niche.

What is it that they want to accomplish? What is something annoying they have going on in their lives that your cleaning service could possibly alleviate?

If you don’t know the answers to these questions, you can call them up and give them a survey. If you position yourself correctly on the phone, many of them will offer you a lot of insight into their industry because you’re not trying to sell anything to them… at least not yet.

Once you have the knowledge of their pain down, then it’s time to start creating content around that pain that offers them a solution. For example, if you’re targeting dentists you might offer a free ebook that gives away 7 tips on how to make their patients LOVE their dental clinic even more and refer their friends to the dentist.

One of those tips obviously should be about how having a clean and sterile dental office is highly important! In this ebook you can literally teach them how to buy from you while they’re also learning about how to better serve their own clients.

Now that you have a piece of content you can market to them, it is time to go where they are already hanging out.

This could be tradeshows, conferences, or even just creating a marketing funnel that offers the ebook as a free download that you advertise on facebook. The possibilities here are endless, and is all part of creating a solid client attraction system that brings in a steady flow of new leads weekly for your cleaning business.

Remember, if you’re just cleaning “stuff” you’ll never be able to charge a premium for your service.
