Qatari-bought fuel enters Gaza amid fears of flare-up with Israel

Kim Levengrond Yehezkel 28 from Rosh Ha’ayin who was killed in a terror attack at the Barkan industrial park

Two Israelis killed and one woman critically wounded in the shooting, open on Sunday, the 23-year-old Palestinian in the industrial area of "Barkan" is near the large Jewish settlement of Ariel in the West Bank.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, for his part, vowed to bring the attacker to justice.

At the United Nations, Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon memorialized the victims after the Security Council refused to condemn the attack.

According to Israeli and Palestinian estimates, roughly 650,000 Jewish settlers now live in settlements across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Seven Arabs were arrested in Samaria early Tuesday in connection with the murders of 29-year-old Kim Levengrond Yehezkel and 35-year-old Ziv Hajbi, as well as the wounding of 54-year-old Sara Vaturi, at their workplace on Sunday morning.

A military statement released Sunday evening named the suspect as Ashraf Naalwa, from the northern West Bank village of Shuweika, and said that the army and the Shin Bet security service were hunting him.

Barkan has been touted as a rare example of Israeli-Palestinian coexistence.

According to Israeli media reports, Na'alwa ordered another worker to handcuff Yehezkel to a chair before shooting her to death.

The incident came amid tensions in the Gaza Strip, where Palestinians have been staging daily rallies against the blockade imposed by Israel since 2007, and Israeli forces killed at least 190 people since the protest started on March 30.

Israel housing units are considered illegal under global law and major stumbling blocks to peace as they are built on Palestinian land.

Bennett was then asked if he would also instruct the Israeli army to adopt a shoot to kill policy against Palestinian children, to which he replied: "They are not children - they are terrorists".

In the central West Bank district of Jerusalem al-Quds, one Palestinian was detained and identified as former prisoner Mahmoud Abed al-Latif.

Israeli leaders blame Palestinian violence, "incitement" and intransigence for the lack of progress in peace efforts.
