Meghan’s on the ball as she attends coaching event

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at the Coach Core Awards this afternoon More

The Duchess of Sussex looked stunning in one of her favourite designers as she arrived at her first solo engagement on Tuesday.

And the Duchess of Sussex seemed to have taken the example to heart when she took on her husband Prince Harry in a netball shootout.

We all thought Meghan Markle was going to step out for her first solo royal visit last week, but that was before her cheerleaders Prince Harry and Doria Ragland got the memo. The gown, designed by Clare Waight Keller, artistic director of Givenchy, divided royal fans and fashion critics alike but Meghan just gave the haters a reason to love it - and the lovers another reason to swoon.

The expensive black number included a Givenchy dress costing £2,510, Aquazzura heels worth £490 and a Givenchy clutch.

And - rather impressively - she did it all in stilettos.

In the newly released clip, she is reunited with the dress for the first time since the royal wedding in May.

Meghan is also rumoured to have held her hens party at the Soho Club in the Cotswolds, near where the couple now own a country house. The 37-year-old former Suits star joined guests at the opening of an exhibition of works from the Oceania region, at the Royal Academy of Arts in central London. Voyaging will look at life on the water as revealed through the stories of indigenous navigation.

In the upcoming documentary Queen of the World, Markle discusses her wedding veil and reveals the hidden tribute to Prince Harry that it contained.

Her Royal Highness will also meet the exhibition's curators and artists as well as descendants linked to the works displayed and view a short performance of Ngāti Rānana, a Māori cultural group.
