Fortnite for Android could be temporarily exclusive to the Galaxy Note9

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is being unveiled in less than 2 weeks, leaving plenty of time to leak even more of the details of the unreleased device. Apple is ditching Qualcomm, the chipmaker says, and exclusively going to Intel for iPhone modems.

Some of you may have watched Samsung's new video advertisement for the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 yesterday.

Samsung has always been rumored to be making a folding phone, now known as the Samsung Galaxy X, and it looks like the handset might land in the first half of 2019, yet we might get a folding phone from Huawei even sooner. We end today's show with deals, as Best Buy is doing a Black Friday in July. With the exclusive launch, Galaxy Note 9 buyers will also get V-Bucks worth $100 and $150 for in-game purchases. This likely means that all other Android users won't be able to access Fortnite until at least late September. While this information can not be confirmed, the possibility doesn't seem unlikely since Fortnite for Android has been expected to launch this summer.

The game will be quite the test for the rumored device, which will come with a vapor chamber heat pipe for cooling - just the thing for those epic marathon Battle Royale sessions.

Samsung will begin sales of its Galaxy Watch smartwatch on August 24 together with the Galaxy Note 9, ZDNet Korea reports. According to our source, the game will be announced for Android during Samsung's event, along with the exclusivity period. The good news? Fortnite comes to Android in August.

Everyone has been talking about the Galaxy Note 9 these days, and in between all of that, the Galaxy Tab S4 has been getting some attention as well. There even seems to be a grey fold-out stand, which may suggest that Samsung will have a grey Note 9 on the way. But in the recent past, Samsung has also demonstrated and highlighted the gaming performances of its flagship phones.
