Jada regrets dating Will Smith!

Jada Pinkett Smith Willow Smith

One time, in particular, stands out to Sheree where the two argued with "fighting words" over the phone when she simply wanted to talk to her son, Trey, who she shares with Will.

"Because I did not understand marriage, I did not understand divorce, I probably should have fell back", she admitted to Fletcher in the intimate sit-down, to which she responded, "You think?"

Pinkett Smith confessed to being inconsiderate and insensitive to Zampino and Smith during the end of their marriage and to being focused on immediately developing a co-parenting arrangement, even though it was uncomfortable for the estranged couple at the time.

"The beginning between us was rough", Jada said in the interview with Zampino.

This week, Jada debuted her Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk alongside her 17-year-old daughter and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris. And it taught me that, as much as I thought I knew you, there's so much more to know.

"Thank you for loving my baby", Sheree added, touching a tearful Jada on the arm.

Fletcher called it a turning point in her relationship with Pinkett Smith. "I have learned so much about life experiences-intimate life experiences you were having that I wasn't aware of", she shared with InStyle.

Getting over their hard beginnings seem to have paid off handsomely: Pinkett Smith and Smith have been married for 20 years and now share two children of their own, son Jaden and daughter Willow, who is also a panelist on "Red Table Talk". Will and Jada are Hollywood legends, Jaden is becoming an icon in his own right, and Willow's musical career is still on the rise. Despite the pictures of Trey smiling beside his two younger siblings through the years, Pinkett Smith said the blending of the two families has not been "seamless".

"I'll tell you on this side of things, my son couldn't have a better bonus mom", Fletcher said.

Both women expressed gratitude to each other for helping raise Trey, who is now a DJ, performing under the name DJ Ace. "And he's got a great mother", Pinkett replied.
