Milwaukee Bucks Game 1 Preview: April 15 at Boston Celtics

Celtics to face Bucks in first round of playoffs

The Bucks are implementing a "blackout" of the BMO Harris Bradley Center during their series with Boston, wearing black, using their black "Fear the Deer" court and encouraging fans to wear black, giving away black t-shirts for games three and four. Malcolm Brogdon is the third double-digit scorer and John Henson is grabbing six rebounds. The Milwaukee Bucks have lost five of their last nine road games. Boston defended well in overtime and deservedly took a 1-0 lead in the series. But timely 3-pointers from Rozier and Morris allowed the Celtics to hold on to their advantage.

Al Horford led the way for Boston with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Rozier added 23 points. The Boston Celtics are shooting 42.3 percent from beyond the arc and 88.9 percent from the free throw line.

Sure, keeping Antetokounmpo contained will give the Celtics a good chance of advancing to the second round of the playoffs, but the Bucks have other dangermen in Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton which Boston must consider.

The Milwaukee Bucks shot 48.2 percent from the field while the Celtics shot 41.5 percent, and they still lost.

This Bucks team will feel like they've unfinished playoff business, as their last taste of post-season action came in a spirited, but heartbreaking defeat to the Toronto Raptors in Game 6 last season.

Boston's odds to win the National Basketball Association championship can be found at BetDSI and they are pegging the Celtics at +8000, which means that Brad Stevens' men are not among the most serious contenders to lift the National Basketball Association title this year. I'll lay the bucket with the home team yet again.
