It's unclear how the arrest will impact his status with the WWE, but a rep for the company told ProWrestlingSheet, "Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions". The report furthers an estimated $8,000 in total damages to Hardy's auto, and the now injured star will be appearing in court on April 16th stemming from the arrest. Hardy, 40, along with brother Matt and fellow WWE wrestler Bray Wyatt, recently taped vignettes for the upcoming WrestleMania 34.

According to officials, Hardy registered a.25 blood alcohol level, significantly higher.08 limit. But this weekend, he was known as an arrestee in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.

Hardy was driving northbound on the Concord Parkway Saturday when he ran off road and hit 105 feet of guardrail before spinning out on control, according to the arrest report obtained by CBS Sports.

Hardy, who once pleaded guilty after a 2009 arrest on drug charges, is now out on bail, and he is scheduled for a court date on April 16.

Arrest Could Hurt Hardy's Career Jeff Hardy and Sheamus (C) battle during a WWE show at Zenith Arena in Lille, France, May 10, 2017. His next court date is scheduled for April 16.

Saturday night wasn't his first brush with the law; in 2009 he was arrested for possession of anabolic steroids and for trafficking in controlled prescription pills. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, 30 months of probation, and a $100,000 fine.

Jeff Hardy had already violated the WWE Wellness policy on two occasions, and was suspended for 30 days in 2007 and 60 days in 2008.
