Meghan Markle takes on first engagement with The Queen

A source close to Ms Markle said “Tom did not receive an invite”

The most highly anticipated of Meghan's looks is, of course, the one she'll wear on May 19 when she says "I do" to her Prince Charming. L-R: Burgess Abernethy as Prince William, Laura Mitchell as Duchess Kate, Parisa Fitz-Henley as Meghan Markle and Murray Fraser as Prince Harry.

The couple were sat in the row behind Prince William, who sat studying his order of service, next to Kate.

Meghan Markle looked radiant in a matching white coat and beret during her first official public appearance with the Queen of England for Commonwealth Day.

The source also divulged that William and Harry's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, will find her own way to join the fun.

"She is already effectively being treated as a full-blown member of the royal family, even if she hasn't married Prince Harry yet", Roya Nikkhah, royal correspondent for The Sunday Times, told NBC.

The queen is the head of the Commonwealth, which consists of 53 independent countries, some of which used to be ruled by the British Empire. Her playful interpretation of the British accessory staple was refreshing and unexpected; lest we forget, Diana was known for reimagining royal dress codes, too.

"We all have reason to give thanks for the numerous ways in which our lives are enriched when we learn from others".

He went on to highlight the Commonwealth's theme for 2018 - Towards a Common Future - telling the congregation "we have a shared history but more importantly we have a shared future".

The Daily Star has reported that Meghan's half-brother Thomas Markle Jr, who was accused of putting a gun to his girlfriend's head during a row past year, did not get an invite to the wedding. On Monday, it was reported that Meghan has chosen Australian-born designers Ralph and Russo to create her wedding dress.
