Wenger's nightmare continues as Arsenal lose away to Brighton

It was the first time Arsenal have lost four consecutive games since 2002.

Twenty minutes later Brighton doubled their lead through Glenn Murray's header, although it looked as though Cech could have done more to keep the ball out.

And Brighton piled more misery on the Frenchman, who saw his side fail to mount a comeback despite Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's goal late in the first half.

The defeat was Arsenal's fourth in a row in all competitions, and the Gunners now must travel to the San Siro to face AC Milan in the Europa League Round of 16 on Thursday. "My worry is to get Arsenal to win football games, and then we see where we go from there".

The 35-year-old goalkeeper has been stuck on 199 Premier League sheets for 78 days.

A tiny number of Arsenal fans inside stadium witnessed the 3-0 loss at the Emirates, with it becoming clear more and more of the Gunners faithful are becoming disillusioned with manager Arsene Wenger.

Koscielny said "of course" the players are behind Wenger but the 32-year-old France worldwide acknowledged results must improve.

"I left him at home because I played him in the two games against (Manchester) City, without a lot of training in behind", Wenger told his post-match press conference.

Quizzed by Sky Sports on whether a position he has previously described as a "dream" would appeal, Arsenal's all-time leading goalscorer said: "Listen, I'm a competitor, you don't back down from a challenge". I believe a quality of a manager is to try to shorten a crisis.

"We need to invest all we have into the Europa League, as it has become the priority".

Spurs, who did not win in their first three league games there, are fourth, a point behind United and five ahead of fifth-placed Chelsea, which was at leader Manchester City yesterday.

"We feel comfortable at Wembley, we enjoy playing here", Son said after scoring four times this week at the national stadium where Tottenham is playing while it builds a new home ground.

'If you love a place and they ask - I repeat, they ask - for help, you are always going to say yes'.

Ozil had been quiet in the first half but a powerful run and shot brought a fine save from Mat Ryan before the German's threaded pass nearly let in Aubameyang for his second goal.
