'House of Cards' Debuts Teaser for Final, Kevin Spacey-Less Season

House of Cards season 6

Netflix premiered a teaser trailer for House of Cards' sixth and final season during the Oscars Sunday night.

Kevin Spacey was sacked by Netflix after the sexual harassment claims were made against the actor a year ago. The Netflix political series has just released the first trailer of its sixth and final season.

The first trailer of season 6 has now been released giving fans a taste of what to expect.

Instead, Robin Wright is now running the show, and she wants to make one thing clear: Claire Underwood is JUST getting started! By the end of season 5, Frank Underwood has resigned, leading the way for Claire to become president.

Outspoken comedian and activist Rosie O'Donnell took to Twitter to slam Spacey's mea culpa, comparing the 58-year-old American to disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein.

Robin Wright appears in a teaser for the upcoming season of House of Cards. The idea is that Claire will issue a presidential pardon, but the season ended with that very much in doubt. Perhaps the show's creators are "just getting started" in standing up to the kind of toxic behaviour Spacey and others working in Hollywood have been accused of.

In the past few months, the Netflix show House of Cards has been through a lot.

Netflix in November eventually announced it had dropped Kevin Spacey from the show.

The final season will consist of eight episodes and was originally expected to air on Netflix in the spring of 2018.
