Avengers: Infinity War Release Moved Up To April 27, 2018

'Avengers: Infinity War' release date, plot spoilers: Runtime points to longest MCU film yet; X-Men crossover not happening soon

The full, official list of features for the Iron Man figure is available below, along with a sneak peek at their upcoming Avengers: Infinity War Captain America and Thanos figures.

Avengers: Infinity War is set to be the first of a two-part movie event that will conclude with Avengers 4 in 2019. Marvel and Disney pushed up the date so that the much-anticipated sequel will have the same release date around the world, limiting the possibility of spoilers for Northern American audiences.

"Avengers: Infinity War" is the beginning of the end for the first major story arc of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and features nearly every main character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date. People are going to show up whenever Infinity War comes out, and this gives it an extra week before Deadpool 2 hits theaters.

And while many fans would love to have the movie as early as possible, Downey Jr. added his enthusiasm for seeing it earlier.

To follow up on this announcement, Ryan Penagos, Marvel's vice president and creative executive of New Media, posted a follow up tweet to the Marvel Studios announcement.

Any chance I could see it earlier? Marvel's latest Black Panther has been raking in big numbers at the box office. But, turns out, Robert Downey Jr is also just as impatient as the rest of the fans of MCU.

- Robert Downey Jr (@RobertDowneyJr) March 1, 2018 You mean these friends?

"Avengers: Infinity War" will not come out on May 4.

For those unfamiliar, "Infinity War" will be one of the most unprecedented films in the superhero genre, bringing in the dozens of heroes the MCU has introduced since 2008 to team up and fight one common enemy.

With almost $422 million from North America sales, Marvel Studios' Black Panther is en route to become one of the biggest movies of all time.
