Google's Project Fi expands worldwide coverage to 170 countries

Project Fi will now let you know if you're covered ahead of international trips

Google's Project Fi has announced it is expanding its worldwide coverage, making it now available in 170 countries and territories. That is up from the 135 nations the organization has since quite a while ago offered benefit in.

The good thing here is that Project Fi still doesn't charge you extra for your data usage in these countries. Countries like Cameroon, Botswana, Guam, Georgia, Armenia, Palestine, and Belize have been added, with the full list viewable down below. You'll still pay the usual $10/GB, no matter where you are and SMS usage is unlimited, too.

T-Mobile, which offers unlimited worldwide data for most of its post-paid plans, says it covers "140+ countries". Based on your correspondence in Gmail, Project Fi knows where you're going and will tell you whether it can provide service there. Additionally, Project Fi will also now let you know if you're covered for your next trip based upon global flight information from Gmail. Contingent upon how you tally, there's just shy of 200 nations on the planet. In each of the cases, free roaming is covered while you're visiting. Chances are that Project Fi now has you covered in a lot of them. The alleged Bill Protection include dependably tops your information bills at a most extreme of $60 every month (for singular records).
