Rainbow Six Siege free play weekend announced

Another Rainbow Six Siege free weekend is happening this month

Ubisoft has announced a new free to play weekend for Rainbow Six Siege. And it seems the guys over at Ubisoft are giving players the chance to jump in to the experience free of charge once more. You get a decent while to determine if you do.

With the first content drop of Season 1, Year 3's Operation Chimera closing in, this free period will provide players with the ideal opportunity to jump in and see just why Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege has kept its players interested over the past few years.

You can play the game gratis from February 15, with the trial ending on February 18 on PC, 19 on Xbox One and 20 on PS4. The free Outbreak event, which involves infiltrating the Quarantine Zone in New Mexico where the locals have been turned into creatures, runs from 6 March to 3 April.

Players who try the game during the free weekend can carry over their progress and continue to play uninterrupted if they purchase the game (except on the Starter edition). Operation Chimera and its intriguing co-op mode, Outbreak, will be available for PC players to beta test, ahead of the content's official release on all formats on March 6. Both are part of the Year 3 Season One content for Rainbow Six Siege.
