Trump Signs Executive Order Expanding Broadband to Rural America

New Markets Mean Economic Security and Growth for Our Rural Communities

In the year since rural America voted him into office, the president has proposed deep cuts to crop insurance subsidies, reductions in immigrants entering the United States and withdrawal from the North American Free Trade Agreement - all of which have rattled farmers.

Gubernatorial candidate Randy Boyd noted that during his visit to Nashville and address to the American Farm Bureau Federation, President Trump signed two new executive orders "to assist America's rural communities with broadband expansion and efforts to end the opioid crisis that is destroying too many lives and families in Tennessee".

President Donald Trump concluded the 99th American Farm Bureau Federation Annual Convention Tuesday, praising farmers and ranchers as the future of the nation.

"You deduct it all in one year as opposed to over many years", Trump said. The President announced significant changes to the estate tax, known as the death tax, so Americans can "keep your farms in the family", which was met by one of several standing ovations. To a standing ovation, President Trump also touted the rolling back of numerous regulations, most notably the Environmental Protection Agency's infamous 'Waters of the U.S.' (WOTUS) rule, which Chairman Roberts has fought against since its inception. It greatly expanded the EPA's federal jurisdiction and the scope of bodies of water subject to Clean Water Act requirements.

According to the executive order the United States Government "should seek to reduce barriers to capital investment, remove obstacles to broadband services and more efficiently employ government resources", the order goes on to say.

Here's what you need to know about traffic and public transportation when he arrives. "It sounds so nice, it sounds so innocent, and it was a disaster". It sounds so innocent.

Touting changes in the tax plan Trump said are beneficial to farmers, the president also used the platform to announce a newexecutive order created to expand access to broadband internet in rural areas.

Another group, Refuse Fascism ATL, says that before kickoff, they'll "take a knee against Trump" outside CNN's world headquarters, in solidarity with athletes who have knelt during the national anthem to protest racial injustice.

"We want our flag respected!" His Southern swing also included a stop in Atlanta for the national college football championship game. "We're going to be looking at even a bigger surplus if we don't push these products overseas". He vowed to renegotiate NAFTA and build a wall on the Southern border.

Also Monday, Trump signed a measure into law designating the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
