Tommy Wiseau And Greg Sestero Have Now Somewhat Achieved Their Hollywood Dream

James Franco

One of those people was Ally Sheedy, who tweeted from an unverified account.

Franco - who held a dinner for his fellow Best Actor nominees the night before the Golden Globes on Saturday, January 6 - was considered a long shot to beat out Jackman for The Greatest Showman, Battle of the Sexes'Steve Carell, Baby Driver's Ansel Algort and Daniel Kaluuya for Get Out.

There's at least one person who definitely won't be congratulating James Franco on his Golden Globes win. A tweet from earlier in the night also referenced a problem with Franco's presence. A user by the name of Violet Paley wrote, "Cute #TIMESUP pin James Franco".

"James Franco just won", she tweeted later while watching the program.

Many fans retweeted and replied to the messages which they took to imply the "Breakfast Club" star was accusing Franco of some sort of sexual harassment or abuse.

Franco picked up a Golden Globe for Best Actor, and in doing so brought the inspiration for the whole thing up on stage with him - Tommy Wiseau. But there is nothing in her tweet that indicated she was referring to that experience.

In case you forgot, while starring in Of Mice and Men, Franco allegedly offered to rent a room so that he could spend quality time with the "almost" 18-year-old. Franco and the teen later connected on Instagram, and she told him she was "nearly 18". He allegedly offered to rent a room to spend time with the "almost 18"-year-old".

The toe-curling moment was far from over as Dave Franco doubled over in hysterics as he watched the chaos unfold. He said that he was "embarrassed", had "used bad judgement" and that "social media is tricky", Fox News reported. I knew that he had high hopes.

Greg Sestero was not that much successful either failing to get roles in many TV shows and movies so he had to settle being an extra most of the time. At the time, Sheedy called Franco "a handsome, generous man" in a New York Times profile.

Representatives for Franco and Slater did not immediately respond to TIME's request for comment.
