Paul Sorvino Threatens to Kill Disgraced Movie Mogul Harvey Weinstein

The Los Angeles District Attorney's office is currently reviewing two cases against Harvey Weinstein

Mira Sorvino, 50, praised her father Paul Sorvino on Twitter after he stood up for her in a TMZ interview Wednesday regarding Harvey Weinstein allegedly making unwanted advances on his daughter and then blacklisting her from future movie roles.

"If I meet him on the street, he oughta hope that he goes to jail".

Weinstein's sexual misconduct and assault case has been passed to the Los Angeles District Attorney's officials for further investigation and the producer is now being scrutinized by lawmakers in London and NY following accusations of rape from a number of alleged victims, and Sorvino is convinced the film boss will "die in jail". Good for him if he goes.

"Oh, yeah. That son-of-a-bitch better hope that he goes, because if he doesn't, he'll have to meet me, and I will kill that motherfucker", Sorvino said in the TMZ interview. And I will kill the (expletive).

Replying to a tweet from journalist Yashar Ali, Mira Sorvino shared an outpouring of love and gratitude for her 78-year-old father after his video made headlines.

The actor's daughter, Mira Sorvino, claimed that Weinstein had blackballed her and caused her to not be cast in film series Lord of the Rings.

Both cases were brought to the attention of the Beverly Hills Police Department last month
Dozens of women have accused Weinstein of sexual harassment and assault

She said in The New Yorker report that she hesitated to share her story about Weinstein because it wasn't as bad as other women's experiences, and because of the producer's role in "Mighty Aphrodite".

And now, Mira's legendary father, Paul Sorvino, has weighed in with a threat to the disgraced producer over the blacklisting. There it is, confirmation that Harvey Weinstein derailed my career, something I suspected but was unsure. "Mr. Weinstein obviously can't speak to anonymous allegations, but with respect to any women who have made allegations on the record, Mr. Weinstein believes that all of these relationships were consensual", the spokesperson said.

Weeks later, Sorvino said Weinstein invited himself to her New York City apartment after midnight on the pretense of work.

She remained concerned that the episode affected her career. Sorvino won an Oscar in 1996 for the film. Sorvino said he was "absolutely furious" when he heard about what his daughter had gone through.

"The law will get him. He's going to go to jail and die in jail".

He then clarified his threat, stating: "I'll just slap him around, I wouldn't do anything bad".
