Tune in to 'Curse of Osiris' Stream One - New Stories to Tell

Destiny 2 – Expansion I: Curse of Osiris Livestream Taking Place November 15 on Bungie Twitch Channel

With all the talk coming out of the studio lately, carefully using the terms "new raid activity" or "new raid content", it was easy to come to the conclusion that there would not, in fact, be a new raid with the launch of the first expansion, Curse of Osiris. Osiris is investigating the Vex in the Infinite Forest, which is a simulation of the past, present, and future. You can watch it all on Bungie's Twitch channel. These will take place in the same general location (in this case, on a giant, planet-eating ship) but offer new challenges, puzzles, places, and even a new end boss for players to overcome in a somewhat shorter overall experience.

It's unknown if Bungie will have the "Raid Lair" set to go when the content arrives next month, but they're sure to keep us posted. You'll be able to obtain new gear by visiting Brother Vance, who oversees operations in the area.

As with every other Destiny expansion, Curse of Osiris will give players new weapons, new armor, new places to go, and new enemies to kill.

Bungie also revealed that the Heroic Strikes playlist will make a return. With Vex from both the past and future fighting you in the original raid, we'll be seeing those variants of Vex again as we rescue Osiris and deal with whatever threat he saw. The expansion releases on December 5.

The Power requirement for the Raid Lair will be 300, with The Leviathan's Power requirement also boosted up to 300 from 270. The new content, which we kind of already knew, that is coming was the Infinite Forest and some new Raid content. The regular Strikes playlist isn't very rewarding once you get higher up in Power levels, so it'll be nice to have a tougher, more rewarding alternative.

Bungie pulled back the curtain on Destiny 2's first expansion, Curse of Osiris, in a livestream today. Bungie plans to share more details about the new expansion activities we can embark on then.
