Taylor Swift Strips Things Down for 'Saturday Night Live' Performances

Gigi Hadid wished Taylor Swift a happy birthday

Taylor Swift went for a stark contrast for her first Saturday Night Live performance in ages, starting with one of Reputation's most in-your-face singles and following it up with a lovely acoustic throw to her country beginnings.

A lot of fans think Swift is at the top of her game.

Swift is also reportedly planning a tour announcement around her 28th birthday on December 13th.

[MUSIC] Taylor, wherever you are, I thank you for this lovely song and for loving songs and loving Nashville.

While numerous songs reveal intimate details about her secret relationship with boyfriend Joe Alwyn, Swift - who spent most of 2016 in hiding - also tells her side of the story on her past relationships and her feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West. The song that details this fall-out is titled "This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things", and she explains her side in verse two. There will be no further explanation.

The 15-track album's mix of hip-hop, dance and just one acoustic ballad projects a tougher, more vindictive image of the singer who made her name 10 years ago with yearning songs about first love and being an outsider. Entries like "Don't Blame Me" and "Call It What You Want" are familiar, while "Delicate" and "Dancing With Our Hands Tied" offerings provide a new sound for the singer and songwriter. "There will just be reputation", she concluded.
