Olive Garden Has A New 'Pasta Passport' And Yes, It Involves Travel

Olive Garden Takes Its Never Ending Pasta Pass to a Whole New $200 Level

The 22,000 regular passes on sale Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, let people eat as much pasta as they want for eight weeks for $100. And, of course, Olive Garden says it sold 21,000 pasta passes in just one second in 2016.

And this year, the restaurant chain is adding an additional pasta pass for a more authentic experience - an all-inclusive, eight-week trip to Italy for 50 customers. The restaurant chain claims that previous year, all 21,000 cards - which entitles the holder to unlimited pasta for eight weeks - sold out in one second.

Guests who claim their Pasta Pass for $100 will enjoy eight weeks of access to unlimited pasta.

Plus, this year, 50 customers will also have the chance to buy a "Pasta Passport to Italy". They will start by exploring the sprawling cobble-stoned streets and terracotta rooftops of Siena, then will travel throughout Italy, including Florence and Assisi, cities known for their ancient architecture and fresh, seasonal cooking. The trip includes round-trip flights, four-star hotel accommodations, ground transportation, optional daily cultural and culinary activities and three meals per day. Olive Garden's never-ending pasta passes will be valid from September 25 until November 19.

There are only 22-thousand pasta passes available and the offer ends after 30 minutes.
