Fox News Host Sent Unsolicited Lewd Text Messages To Colleagues, Sources Say

Fox News host Eric Bolling has an exclusive interview with President Donald Trump on Fox News

Bolling, a former host of hit Fox show "The Five", is now host of 5 p.m. EST show "The Specialists" and also hosts a Saturday morning panel show "Cashin' In".

In an emailed statement, a Fox News spokesperson said: "Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is now under way".

In a statement, Fox News confirmed Bolling's suspension Saturday afternoon.

The Huffington Post broke the news Friday evening, reporting that at least three of Bolling's colleagues had received unsolicited lewd photos via text message from the host. She reached out to him requesting him to stop sending her such pictures.

One recipient said she texted Bolling to never send such a photo again, and said that he didn't respond.

The report said the messages were sent several years ago and on separate occasions.

According to the report, a dozen sources and the three recipients of the text confirmed its contents.

And Fox Business host Charles Payne was recently suspended from the network amid sexual harassment claims. In 2016, the late Fox News CEO Roger Ailes resigned after allegations of sexual harassment from multiple employees.

Mr. Bolling joined Fox Business Network in 2008 and has served as host or co-host on a number of Fox shows including "The Five", "Follow the Money" and "Happy Hour".

"His insight is valued and we are pleased to have him at the network for many more years to come", Scott said in a statement at the time.

Over at Fox Sports, former exec Jason Horowitz was sacked in July after being interviewed as part of an investigation by parent company 21st Century Fox into allegations of sexual harassment.

In 2014, while on the panel show, The Five, where guests discussed the first woman fighter pilot from United Arab Emirates leading the bombing of the Islamic State, Bolling asked on air if it was more appropriate to say "boobs on the ground" instead of "boots on the ground". Let's whack the Fox News Channel.
