LG V30 will go on sale from September 28 in the US

LG V20 the predecessor of the upcoming LG V30 is shown in different color variants

According to a report from Slashgear (via PhoneArena), they have heard from a source that LG is apparently priming the LG V30 to be a great phone for night photography.

LG is all set to unbox its next generation V30 smartphone in Berlin on August 31.

Android Authority has obtained the news from an exclusive source, which says the phone will be unveiled at IFA on 31 August, something that was confirmed following an official media invite. If we look at the price of its predecessor LG V20 then we can expect the price of LG V30 in India will be around Rs.35K to 45K.

LG and Samsung are very close when it comes to competition in the smartphone business.

The LG G7 is expected to launch in January 2018, as usual, but LG will attempt to buffer out the remainder of 2017 with another release in the UK, USA and Europe in the form of the LG V30. Although there was some speculation that the V30 might come out with a fresh new design in tow, the majority of recent leaks show that the V30 would most likely inherit LG G6's general looks. The V20 featured a 5.7-inch 1440p IPS LCD display, coated in Gorilla Glass 4. LG V-series is known for its secondary displays, but the company's latest flagship might not come with the marque feature. The secondary screen will be replaced with a LG V30 floating bar. Coming to the rear, the dual camera setup is mounted horizontally, with the flash and related sensors aside. The V30 has been subjected to various leaks in the past and it is reported to be the first smartphone from LG to feature an OLED display. Several listings from the FCC website pertain to newly certified "portable handsets" with model numbers SM-N950F and SM-N950U as well as potential variants SM-N950U1, SM-N950W, and SM-N950XU, which have all been associated with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Android Headlines explained. Other than the Snapdragon 835 SoC, the phone will come with at least 4GB RAM and another 6GB RAM variant will also be available.
