Galaxy S8 Active leak shows rugged design, final specs

Samsung Galaxy S8 Active look

While the Note 8 is widely expected to have its unveiling on August 23 during the Korean tech conglomerate's Unpacked event in NY, an internal document cited by Android Authority has disclosed that the LG V30 will be taking the spotlight for the first time on August 31 at IFA 2017, which will be held in Berlin. Due to the need to accommodate the S Pen stylus, the Seoul-based tech giant was reportedly forced to equip the Galaxy Note 8 with a 3,300mAh battery whose capacity is slightly lower compared to the 3,500mAh unit powering the Galaxy S8 Plus, though it remains to be seen how long will the phablet be able to last on a single charge in everyday use. In spite of the fact that Samsung held back before uncovering the phone's genuine launch date, it seems like the organization unintentionally released the pre order date. The phone will be unveiled on the 23rd of August.

Samsung's Australian website may have jumped the gun on revealing the Galaxy Note 8 pre-order date.

The site writes screen replacement program promotional period to start on August 25.

Recently we have seen the live images of the Galaxy S8 Active (SM-G892A) and now we have got detailed specifications of the handset that have surfaced along with press images.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Active once again finds itself at the center of a new leak, this time in the form of what appears to be an employee training manual for the device. And it was clearly written in the documentation that the name for this model number is Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

The leak comes from a trusted source and they have always been at the forefront when it comes to leaking phone renders much before their official launch. On activation, the Note 8 will be covered for a cracked screen until the end of October 2018.

A mysterious Samsung smartphone has passed through Bluetooth SIG, the certification body that regulates Bluetooth device standards. Under the metal shell, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB of RAM. So we can expect that in Note 8 the RAM is bigger. The Note 8 is speculated to be available in three colour options: blue, black, and gold. Alleged Samsung Galaxy X runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
