Last week, showrunner Ryan Murphy finally revealed that season 7's title will be Cult, and the first official trailer was released in all of its horrific scary-clown glory. The creators, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, knew they had to pull something out of the bag to keep viewers on their toes - and we're really hoping Cult could be it.

The new season will be called "American Horror Story: Cult". As part of the new season's marketing, FX also launched a new website where fans can get exclusive "American Horror Story" content.

Are you excited for the new season which will air September 5th 2017. Case in point: Right now, fans everywhere are desperately trying to figure out the meaning behind the bees, the creepy clowns, and Evan Peters' blue hair.

Murphy, who has been taking to his Instagram account to drop hints on the premise and developing cast of the upcoming season, shared a sketch of the pair's characters on Sunday.

Murphy later revealed that two characters played by Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson would be named Ally and Kai and it would be a "love story for the ages", which would mark the second season in a row where the actors were involved in an on screen relationship together.

Murphy then teased "American Horror Story: Cult" as the "heaviest" season the show has ever done. AHS: Cult will be set in MI, which might tie into the election theme, considering that MI was a key battleground state. "It makes you think and it will be interesting to see how people react".

So far we know that AHS alums Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Frances Conroy and Mare Winningham will be returning with newcomers Leslie Grossman, Billy Eichner, Billie Lourd, Colton Haynes, Alison Pill and Lena Dunham.
