VH1 Star Stevie Ryan Dies at 33

Stevie Ryan, a YouTube star whose viral videos led to her own comedy show on the VH1 cable TV channel, died by suicide Saturday, July 1, 2017, according to multiple news sources.

Ryan launched her career in 2006 with a series of celebrity parody YouTube videos called called Little Loca. She starred in the VH1 comedy series Stevie TV and was a co-host on Brody Jenner's talk show Sex with Brody.

The last episode was published on iTunes on June 28, and heard Stevie discussing how her grandfather's death had impacted her depression.

Ryan was inspired to create her famous Little Loca character as a way to deal with the haters. Altogether, she counted roughly 160,000 subscribers and 63 million lifetime views.

She tweeted: "The man of my dreams will now only be in my dreams".

Ryan started out on YouTube, doing impersonations of celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber. She recently hosted a podcast about depression.

The coroner's office reported that Ryan's death was the result of an apparent suicide.

Stevie's cause of death was determined a suicide by hanging, according to the records.

"I just want to lay in bed with him and cuddle forever", the star added. Stevie TV had an incredible two season run from March 2012 to July 2013.

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans also expressed her grief on Twitter: "I know we pretty much hated each other but I'm sorry you had to go so soon pretty girl".

Ryan was also quite active on Instagram in the days leading up to her passing and in one of her latest posts, she said it was too hot outside for a cold-hearted person like herself.
