Samsung will probably launch the Galaxy Note 8 in late August

Samsung to unveil Galaxy Note 8 on Aug. 26

The Tab S3 was first unveiled at the MWC this year and it comes powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC. Galaxy Tab S3 has been priced at Rs 47,990 and will be available starting today.

The burning issue with the much lamented #Samsung phone-tablet of yesteryear, the Galaxy Note 7, was one of the greatest product disasters ever to befall an electronics company.

These are some of the special features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.

When it comes to productivity, the tablet automatically attaches to Samsung's keyboard cover through pogo pins located at the bottom of the device. In the memory department, Galaxy Tab S3 comes equipped with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory.

As an introductory offer, Samsung is offering free data from Reliance Jio and one-time screen replacement which is valid until 31st July. There is a microSD card slot supporting expandable storage as well.

The Galaxy Tab S3 supports a S-Pen stylus just like the Microsoft Surface Pen.

Samsung today launched the successor to the Galaxy Tab S2 from a year ago, the new Galaxy Tab S3. The S Pen allows for a precise and natural handwriting or drawing experience.

Lastly, coming to the camera department, the Tab S3 has a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9, autofocus, and LED flash. For video calls, the tablet gets a 5MP snapper on the front.

The S Pen does not require any charging or pairing and boasts a fine 0.7mm tip.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G / HSPA+, EDGE/ GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac MIMO, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, USB 3.1 Type C port and 3.5mm audio jack.

Tech publication SamMobile said, "Either Apple or Samsung is expected to release the first smartphone with the fingerprint scanner on the front but China's Vivo can take the title of the first considering a video clip recently released by the company".

It is a quad-speaker setup offered on the Galaxy Tab S3 and these are professionally tuned by AKG.

A glass back helps with the look of the tablet and there is a 6mm thin metal frame.
