Ex-basketball star Rodman expected to arrive in North Korea on Tuesday

Ex-basketball star Rodman expected to arrive in North Korea on Tuesday

However, two officials in North Korea confirmed to the broadcaster that Rodman was expected to arrive there.

CNN spotted Rodman at Beijing International Airport but he refused to answer questions.

According to the publication, this assumption resulted in the fact that the half-brother of North Korean leader was 120 thousand dollars in cash during his assassination at the worldwide airport of Kuala Lumpur in February.

Looking back, Rodman admitted at the talk that he first went to the country "blind, green behind the ears and all that".

The young Kim, who was educated in Switzerland, is reported to be a keen basketball fan and especially of the Chicago Bulls, for whom Rodman played a key role in winning three NBA titles alongside Michael Jordan in the 1990s.

Rodman has visited North Korea at least four times before with most of those visits occurring in 2013 and 2014, according to CNN.

Despite repeated missile threats, United Nations sanctions, a horrendous human rights record and a determination to remain detached from the global community, North Korea could share hosting duties under the new proposal.

"To me he is just a normal guy". Rodman also endorsed Trump for president in 2015. Rodman said on Twitter as he arrived. Dennis Rodman, of all people. Kim agreed on the spot, Rodman said, and the trip eventuated with the Harlem Globetrotters appearing in Pyongyang.

"I think he's an idiot", US Senator John McCain said at the time. He was heavily criticized in the USA for not bringing up the case of Kenneth Bae, an American imprisoned on charges of "hostile acts" who spent 735 days in North Korean custody before being released in 2014.
