Trump says he will unveil overhauled immigration order next week

Criticizing judges who ruled against his controversial travel ban, President Trump argued that the federal circuit they sit on is regularly overturned by the Supreme Court.

"The new order is going to be very much tailored to what I consider to be a very bad decision", Trump said.

President Donald Trump's executive order banning more than 218 million people from the United States was met with swift legal challenges over the weekend across the country.

The judges noted that Washington state and Minnesota had raised serious allegations about religious discrimination in President Donald Trump's ban on seven predominantly Muslim countries.

Judge panel also said that, Trump's administration neither provided any proof nor proved it that the USA terror attacks were the responsibility of a foreigner from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen countries.

The DOJ has also asked to put off any briefings before District Judge James L. Robart, who originally issued the stay upheld but he appellate court, until after the entire 9th Circuit decides whether or not to take up the case.

Trump said the anti-terrorism campaign will continue with the planned issuance next week of new orders that would achieve the same intent as the questioned order.

In a wide-ranging news conference at the White House, called to announce his new labor secretary, Trump also said he has not personally had dealings with Russian Federation and that, "to the best of my knowledge, no person that I deal with does". In fact, a report released last week shows that "72 individuals from the seven countries covered in President Trump's vetting executive order have been convicted in terror cases since the 9/11 attacks". Indeed, the Government does not contend that the Executive Order provides for such process.

"DACA is a very, very hard subject for me, I will tell you", Trump said.

The immigration order, issued on January 27, led to confusion in US airports and prompted worldwide protests and complaints from businesses. It could mean that the new executive order will include provisions that weren't included in the original, or that there will be more countries added to the blacklist on the visa ban.

At issue so far has not been whether Trump's travel ban is ultimately legal - though that has been part of the consideration.

It was one of many threads during the news conference, Trump's first extended one-on-one with the Washington press corps held four weeks after he took office. The Justice Department said it opposes discovery at a hearing last week.

The Ninth Circuit Court states that while counseling deference to the national security determinations of the political branches, the Supreme Court states that the Government's "authority and expertise in [such] matters do not automatically trump the Court's own obligation to secure the protection that the Constitution grants to individuals, " even in times of war. The order also prevented refugees from entering the country for 120 days. And the Trump administration will soon learn: Black robes matter.

"It is the right and duty of the President to do everything in his legal and Constitutional power to protect the American people".
