Genie Bouchard, now ranked 44th in women's tennis, is one of the players featured in Sports Illustrated's 2017 Swimsuit edition.

It turns out, that despite her initial feelings, the pair really enjoyed their date. The Chicago native praised Bouchard for going ahead with the date despite his anonymity.


The Canadian went into the date with low expectations, simply being happy that Goehrke was "normal".

The Sports Illustrated swimwear model and tennis star told Sports Illustrated at the time of the bet that she was looking forward to their date, despite initial ill-feelings.

The 22-year-old treated Goehrke to a Nets game after a busy day doing a photoshoot for Sports Illustrated.
