Kong Skull Island German TV Spot offers horrifying new glimpse of King Kong

Much like "Godzilla" before it, "Kong: Skull Island" looks to take the monsters of yesterday and turn them into more modern, scarier versions of their previous selves.

Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston will lead "Kong: Skull Island" as they play Weaver and Captain James Conrad respectively. Speaking of which, eagle-eyed viewers should be able to spot a few nods to the clandestine organization, which neatly dovetails with the narrative of Gareth Edwards' Godzilla reboot from two years ago.

Co-starring Oscar-winner Brie Larson, Samuel Jackson, John Goodman and John C Reilly, the film sees the group come across a series of terrifying monsters as they attempt to get back home.

This unleashes more monster action than you could ever have imagined.

Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures have dropped the latest trailer for Kong: Skull Island, a re-imaging of the King Kong legend that delivers on monster mayhem and humor.


After teasing it for the last five days, Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros.

Are the greatest of apes crushes full sized helicopters in his hands, we speculate he must be at least twice the size of Jackson's Kong.

As was promised, Tom Hiddleston appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in a gorilla suit late Wednesday night to unveil a brand new trailer for Kong: Skull Island. He's incredibly knowledgeable on Kong and the lore of the island, and looks to be a central character to the story.

Skull Island serves as a precursor to a slated big-screen collision between King Kong and Godzilla, in a movie titled tentatively titled Godzilla vs. Kong due for release in 2020.

Skull Island reimagines Kong's origin story as a team of explores venture deep into handsome yet unsafe territory in the Pacific.

Other cast members include Toby Kebbell, Corey Hawkins, and Jason Mitchell. But despite of their pullout, "Kong: Skull Island" still managed to lift off with a boom.
